This seems ridiculous for such a small parcel that should be only allowed one house! Why are we allowing more density in Walton County instead of less? This is terrible!

Soltera – Request to approve by development order. Project number MIN26-000040 is being reviewed by Bob Baronti. This is a minor development order application submitted by Knauer Never Engineering on behalf of Maverick Five Development, LLC requesting to develop 3 single family attached homes and 2 single family duplexes on 0.79 +/- acres with a future land use of Residential and a zoning category of Residential Preservation. The property is located in District 5, at 4244 East County Highway 30A, and is identified by parcel number(s) 24-3S-19-25315-000-0080, 0081.

I can’t help but wonder if all SEVEN of those families will be able to fit on “THEIR PRIVATE BEACH”. Not to mention where will all the associated vehicles park? One has to think that each SFR will have multiple bedrooms which means multiple vehicles! I agree with James, this is ridiculous!

It's unfortunate that nothing is surprising anymore. Before this house was built, I thought this parcel was a wooded "common area"....approx. 2,400 sf or .055 acre :hmm:
