Slow night here. Fireworks cancelled due to drought conditions. I was supposed to go to a friend's for the fourth, but spent last night and most of today at the hospital. My mother thought she was having a heart attack, but thankfully, she did not. So I crashed with I got home this afternoon.

WE SURVIVED THE PEACHTREE ROAD RACE WITH NO TRAINING!WE HAVE OUR T-SHIRTS AS PROOF. THANK GOODNESS FOR COOL TEMPS AND LOW HUMIDITY. WE'VE VOWED TO TRAIN FOR IT NEXT YEAR. OMG, OUR FEET HURT SO BADLY!

Jeesh, iwiws, sorry you spent the day at the hospital but glad everything is okay.
We just got back too from the fireworks over the lake here (Grapevine). Since it is flooded we had to find a new place to park, but it was great--they outdid themselves!! 
The IBD family went to Inlet Beach. I have to say we saw Pier Parks, Carrillons, Rosemary Beach and Seasides fireworks. It got to the point that I said "ok, enough fireworks"
Of course there were many "amatuers" on the beach igniting their own. They were all safe, family friendly behaviors. I have to say that, IMHO, that this was the best place I have ever viewed fireworks and will come here next year.
Afterwards I was happy to see the garbage can filled to the brim and lots of other garbage bags full as well
