5K in the fall??

Does anyone know of any 5k's in this area in November? Specifically the week of Thanksgiving? I looked on Active, but didn't see anything yet. Thanks!

There was a turkey trot in Watersound last year. Haven't heard if they're doing it again.

If it's not on active.com, my guess is that it doesn't exist. That website is very thorough from my experience.

Run the Buckhead Sizzler in ATL the first weekend in October. It's pretty flat, so a great qualifying race.

Closer to home, the McGuire's Halloween 5K/10K seemed to be very well run when I did it a couple years back.

Hmmm... Thanks! I will keep looking though. My sister is planning a visit and we want to run one together. She & I did our first 5ks together and when we visit eachother we try to plan around an event. If anyone hears anything please post. Thanks!!

I will watch for the Watersound one. Hopefully they will plan it again...
