Walking sounds like a good plan for you for more than fuel economy reasons!

Okay, here's the story of my first ride on a two wheeled vehicle.

Okay picture this:

It is a beautiful day in downtown Key West. A perfect day to learn how to drive a tiny, underpowered motorcycle amongst bumper to bumper traffic and numerous pedestrians.

I am sitting on my newly rented crotch rocket along side the curb of crowded Duval Street awaiting my companion who is signing paperwork. I decide to rev this thing a little and much to my surprise, it has a little more umph than I expected.

The next thing I know, I am going down Duval Street. ?On one wheel-

Because of my death grip on the throttle thing, I only increased speed. Once I figured out what was causing the incredible increase in speed, I poked one finger up from my death grip and pulled the hand brake back. This action, of course, brought the front wheel crashing back down to the pavement. Somehow, I had just done a wheelie down one entire block of Duval Street.

Once I stopped this beast, I turned around to see the rental guy and my buddy running down the street. They were yelling something I couldn?t quite make out. I assumed the rental guy?s words were ones of anger. When he ran up, the guy said, ?Damn buddy, you?re good! But you oughta know these little things can?t take that. Take it easy on them!?

As I tried to hide the bloody scrape on the side of my foot, I said, ?Oh sorry man. I won?t do it again.?

We howled laughing all the way back to the condo, where my buddy crashed his into a mangrove-like bush at the entrance to the place. Good times and good memories

LMAO!!! :rotfl: Good cover up BTW :D

I understand all the chat room lingo, I'm just sad because I can't insert the fun little smilies. I don't think it works the same on a Mac.

Here, let me try

Any ideas?
