I can tell you how it was in Huntsville today! COLD! And I hate it. Rain all day tomorrow, windy, blistery, YUCK. I get so depressed this time of year. Someone needs to win the lottery and send me some $$ so I can move down there. ;-)

TreeFrog, you hit it dead on about a good approximation of fall and winter in Memphis. It was 66 degrees when I got up this morning around 5:50, rain coming down steady all day. It is now 10:40 here and it is still raining. The temperature is sitting at 51, has been that since late afternoon. Temps dropped here all afternoon.
So much for the inch they were talking about us getting today. My rain gauge had more than an inch in it, try more like 1 1/2 to 2 inches of rain by the time I got home. More than that by now. And they are showing sunny and 65 tomorrow and Saturday.

Where did you decide to go? I know you had some great recommendations. That is ok if you choose not to tell me. I know how much your anonymity means to you. But damn I sure would like to meet you. Have a great time and a safe trip!
