Old Florida Village is North of 30-A and Old Florida Beach is beach side. Locals can pinpoint it for you more closely. OFB I'm pretty sure is west of Blue Mt. Beach and East of Gulf Place.
You are correct, Rita. Old Florida Village is located slightly west of Goatfeathers on the north side of 30-A. Old Florida Beach is south of Goatfeathers.

We're not sure if we are going to close on the house mentioned here. There's something about the color scheme that my wife doesn't like.

I'm sure everyone fell for that.

The asking price was $9.9 million.
After 99 days on the market, the home at 155 W. St. Lucia Lane in The Retreat sold for $9.15 million.
The gulf-front home?s selling price topped last?s month?s record sale of $6.39 million for a Southern Accent home in Rosemary Beach. Only 10 homes on the Emerald Coast have sold for more than $5 million. The house at The Retreat had the highest price of any home sold on the Emerald Coast, said Will Mayberry, marketing director for Destin Real Estate Co.
?The buyer was perfect for the property,? said Blake Morar owner of Destin Real Estate Company.
Most of the effort in selling a high end home is in marketing, said Morar, who used virtual online tours as a tool to allow outof-town buyers to view the 6,500 square-foot home.
Susan McGinnis of Coldwell Banker represented the buyers.

I hear that the seller (female) was quite upset that the house sold so quickly. She was hoping it would take a year, so that she could enjoy it for the entire 2006 season. I am serious, and that is funny.
