She posted it because it was the POTUS in a stereotyped portrayal of black men and what's worse she was to lazy to fact check the photo before posting or more than likely consciously chose to remain ignorant.

Obama is half white. I don't believe it was posted in any way other than to show a silly picture. When liberals get in a panic they always cry "racist". It is tired.

Liberals in a panic? I haven't seen any liberals screaming and crying "I want my country back" and stocking up on guns and ammo. I can only speak from the view pointpoint of my conservative friends most of whom admitted they did not want a ni**er in the whitehouse because he would give everything to the blacks. In fact I still hear the word used frequently in reference to the POTUS. Denying the obvious doesn't make it any less true. Do you really believe the biggist fear of redneck America suddenly disappeared with the election of Obama?

Obama was elected by white people Mr. Poppy. There are not enough black people in USA to elect anyone on their own. According to some polls out black people are really getting over Obama. I have quite a few black friends and not one of them like him any longer and they each and every one voted for him.. They bought the Kool-Aid but have since regurgitated it. Obviously, you haven't.

i can't believe that Poppy would have any conservative friends, since (she or he) is so far leaning left, and has so much pent up dislike and hate for conservatives.... as a conservative person myself I wouldn't and couldn't hang out with (her or him), there would be nothing there- no connection...and it obvious that (she or he) and (her or his) best buds on this forum feel the - same way about me... as to( her or his) friend's language, if it really was their language....that's really sad... that word has no place on this forum or for that matter ever being uttered or written.

I have a lot of conservative friends and I have never heard any of them refer to Mr. Obama as a (word from above post). If you did, you could hit the door and don't call back. As far as I'm concerned a person who uses that kind of language and has those types of beliefs, is no friend of mine. I am a lot of things sometimes I'm not proud of, but I ain't that. I think better of myself and others. My parents taught me better. And could we drop POTUS as an acronym for our President? It sounds like a STD and is disrespectful. If you type President, it's only four more key strokes and people will know who you are talking about. And throw in SCOTUS too. Same principle.

The majority of my friends are conservative. We choose to be friends because of things we have in common which far out number minor things we disagree on like politics. All of us on this board have more in common with each other than we realize, it's just that we never debate agreeable issues. I don't dislike any posters and don't pretend to actually know your thoughts. I wouldn't say any of you hate anyone else. Yzarctoo you appear to be the only one angered when another disagrees with you.

I'm confused. WHY isn't this under "lounge". I mean is this REALLLLLY politics? A photoshopped degrading photo of our President and his wife?

I personally would like to ask that it be moved and leave "politics and current events" to the important goings on of the day. I don't think this qualifies.
