at IKEA. As a wise man once said, I don't get out much, but I FINALLY went to this wonderful world today. It was a strange surreal trip-with daughter, and ex. I know--weird, but ok. And he even paid for my little lamps that I just had to have. He said I paid for the gas and drove, it was the least he could do. Anyhoo, I just LOVED this place. And now that I know there's a whole other world out there, I plan on a return visit with lots of $$$. Funn!

Oh, I love Ikea. We have one here in the Chicago 'burbs. It's a funn place just to walk around in even if you don't buy anything. Ikea is listed in our Chicago sighseeing guides as a "must see." I wouldn't put it up there with the Art Institure, but still funn!

I just loved it! Didn't even see it all. Gotta go back. I haven't broken the news to mr. dd that I'm remodeling the master bath and using their modular pieces instead of traditional cabinetry. :shock: (well, that's my plan anyway);-)

...you should have just spent the night in your car last night! Man, two trips to Oklahoma in less than 24 hours! I haven't been yet, but many people rave about it. DId you get those Swedish meatballs?

I live oh so very close to that store. It has been open for nearly a year and I have yet to set foot in there. I equate it to Nordstrom with their shoes - can't walk past something without buying it!

I know! Who woulda thought I'd be right back in the same spot in about 12 hours!! Ikea is great! Can't say enough! Maybe we can go when you return. No swedish meatballs for me today, but I'm game if you are!
