Abundance of Dragonflies?

We normally would have seen them when we were down the end of August, early September. Just saw one on the deck, and usually we see the love bugs also, did not see a one this year. Glad for that. Those are hard to get out of the townhouse. Has anyone seen them?

Dragonflies. We've had lots this year too. Really big ones. Some pretty butterflies, but not many monarchs yet.

Lovebugs. Yuck.

I've seen several monarch butterflies here and some dragonflies but the ones here are small. My son's dog loves watching the dragonflies and butterflies flying around. Glad we don't have love bugs.

I wish someone would tell the dragonflies to eat the biting flies, too! Usually, the biting flies are here in September. Someone forgot to tell them that it is October and there time here has expired.

That is another thing we did not have bothering us this time were the biting flies. We have usually had a problem with them every time we have been there.
