I think it's called bullnose. It's rounded.
hey, I got the straight edge, thinking it might fool some into thinking it might actually BE stone! ha!
I was jsut ready for a change..had straight edge before. I like the bullnose, but I really didn't care that much about the edge...it wasn't high on my priority list. I find I say that about a lot of things these days.
point taken, but slate can be had in ultra flat form....i'm sure you heard of old time slate bed pool tablesI like slate, juts not as a tile counter! I like something flat, smooth, and sealed - no wobbly cutting boards and easy to clean.
