@daniel_wetter: CNN reporting that if numbers persist, Pres. Obama will oversee biggest loss of seats for president's party since Harry Truman.

Hillary certainly has a hard road ahead. The Senate losses may have been somewhat predictable. The Governor's races in Illinois, Maryland, and Massachusetts all went against the polls.

Also amazing is the Scott Walker win in Wisconsin. Two tries to get him out of office by the Dems have failed.

How would you like your lame duck prepared? Obama is sharpening his executive order pencil as we speak!

It will be interesting to see what transpires if Obama over steps his executive authority.

Let's focus on the voter mandate, and that's the GOP stepping up to the plate and leading for a change. For a group that complained loudly about Washington not working they've been doing just that for the past 6 years.

How stupid do you think that those who read and post here are? Everyone knows that the Republicans have been cut out of the legislative process for the past six years by the President and the Senate majority leader. When one body of the legislative triangle has well over 300 bills sitting in its baliwick without even bringing them up for debate, something is sadly amiss. Hopefully, this election will correct that and at least show where the real roadblock lyes.

I'm not sure what a corrosive agent has to do with roadblocks.

The majority of those bills were written by ALEC and are corporate hand jobs or just pet projects of vocal minorities. Lets see if we can debate the substance of the bills and not just the fact that many of them will be vetoed. My bet is that the GOP is simply campaigning for 2016.
