Anyway you do Alaska will be awsome! We flew into Anchorage, rented a car, spent several days driving all over and then took a bus to our cruise from Seward to Vancover on Holland America. We spent two weeks and it was just great. I think anything you select you will enjoy. Let us all know how it turns out. BTW, I can definitely recommend Holland America. It was one of the best cruises we have been on.
