Riveted to the TV this afternoon. What a wonderful outcome to what could have been a tragedy. Those pilots and the crew deserve our praise!

I was stunned when some of the passengers interviewed said they were only wet up to their knees!

Geese and other large birds near airports can be very dangerous. Many airports have Border Collies to run them off. I am so glad to hear this was a miraclous outcome.

As no one was injured (apparently the pilot went through the plane twice to make sure everyone got off before he did) I feel it is safe to say this.

My cousin's facebook status says that he is wondering if the US Airways pilot was Tim Tebow.

Sorry, Gator fans, (only a little bit) it amused me.

I would say that was one darn good pilot. I hope he is able to grant an interview. That was a good ditch. I wonder what it looked like as it hit water it looks like he may have skimmed. I was amazed the tail was still up.

I keep thinking how we needed a good miracle story in this country right now. This one fills the bill.

I was thinking today that I'm glad it didn't happen on inauguration day and steal the spotlight from that event.

that would be two miracles in one day. :D
