I saw a story on the news yesterday that was along the same "story line" of this photo. I have no idea where this was. It made the noon and 6pm news here in Atlanta!
A construction worker was involved in an on-the-job accident, that resulted in the amputation of one of his feet. If that wasn't bad enough.......he asked the hospital if he could have the amputated foot to take home as a "reminder" of the accident.
Not only did the hospital comply with his request, they sent him home with the formaldehyde to store it in.
The "footage" (pun indeed intended) included the amputee on his front porch showing off his former appendage to his buddies. He's storing it in an ACE Hardware bucket. I'm not clear if the hospital provided the bucket or if he had to buy it. Maybe it was a used one?
This sounds like a great one for Jeff Foxworthy to add to his repertoire. You may be a redneck if...........
