In Idol voting patterns, it is far better to suck memorably than to be forgettable. Syesha, Ramiele, and David H. were, IMO, the most forgettable, and are the most in danger. Kristy will get voters who want to 'save' her, and she's the only country singer, which gets you some voters. So I think she gets another week.

There's also a pattern of people with truly horrible performances being safe on the week of the bad performance, and then going the following week when they were much better. So I'd say Kristy goes home next week instead.

ughhhh! I didn't like Kristy or Syesha's performance last night - I will give it to them, they did sound better tonight - a little. But, I think David was the strongest of the 3 vocally. The interview will be interesting to say the least. I wonder how much he will say about his dancing/stripping experience and if he thinks that is why he went home. Did they clause him? So, Amanda has nude photos of her but he was a stripper. Is there a double standard - Simon and the producers said no, it wasn't an issue for them but it is interesting that when Antonella's pics went out, she went home the next week too. hmmmm.

I agree, I think he is arrogant as well. He seemed more embarrassed than upset about getting the boot...

I agree but I think it might have been a reaction to the scrutiny - IDK. His performance was so - so last night but honestly, Kristy was not good and Syesha equally boring but I think they might have saved her for the lone diva. Kristy got the Haley deal handed to her I think. I think Haley didn't tank like that performance last night though. I felt the band and her singing were in a race to get to the end of the song - it didn't even seem to work at any point. I'll be Paula - "She is a pretty girl."

Do they come as a package deal?

I don't know if tonight was a package deal but MTV have been trying to sign them to a variety show. They followed him around this weekend to a Bat Mitzvah in New York, which was a huge deal. He performed for free. It was a fund raiser for a Martin Luther King Jr. charity. They filmed the 13 year old girl, her friends and family and he sang '"Isn't She Lovely" It was in a castle, which was beautiful.

Carly - haven't liked her before because of the hype, but she was very good last night.
I also felt badly for David A. I hope the pressure doesn't become too intense.

Simon is just too rude. He drives me crazy!

My Tivo decided not to record Wednesday but I am not suprised by the results. I thought Kristie was in trouble.
