I "imagine" that I just turned into a David A. fan.He picked the right songs.
David A. hit it out of the park! Such good choices. David C. really needed an Eleanor Rigby tonight...he played it safe. Do you think it will be better for David C's career that he not win?
I dunno. Sunkist and I just talked about this. She reminded me that Daughtry (sp?) is MUCH bigger than Taylor Hicks.
I'll give and say that DA will probably win, but I still like DC better...not only vocally, but personality wise too.

I haven't been a David A. fan and thought for sure that David C. would win it tonight. But after seeing the performances tonight, I think David A. did a great job and will probably win it. My 13 yr old daughter is hitting the redial button to vote over and over again for David C. A teenager that doesn't like David A.!
You are right. David A.'s dad was disparaged, but I suspect that he was the one behind the better choice of songs. Perhaps D.C.'s rock appeal might sell more records.
My usual excuse -- just an opinion, not my area of expertise.
I guess I just don't get it. This David A kids seems real nice in all but his songs and voice put me to sleep. I think David C will sell many more records.

My 14 y.o. is doing the same!!!!! She did not like David A at all until tonight...she said "Imagine" melted her heart.
For me? David A was amazing. Perfect song choices and he sang them beautifully.
I really didn't like his 2nd song..Dream Big. 3rd song was good but like Simon said, he should have sang Billie jean or hello.
