On another note, I read that Chris Sligh wrote in his blog that he is working on a tour for 2009 called "God and Country" that he will do with a good friend of his - we are speculating that the friend is Phil Stacey, who is doing very well on the country charts, getting a lot of play on the country stations. But, get this, he is trying to get one of the top 24 American Idol contestants from this season to open the tour. Because he is a big Jason Castro fan, we are hoping he is the person that he is referring to but it might be someone else. The top 12 are not allowed to sign a contract to do anything until after that August date, so we'll see!

I am looking for new peeps to go with. Mine had to bail on me. I figured I would have no problem selling these tickets on-line, but apparently they still have availability. Unless ticketron is selling other people's tickets. No one could tell me. But there is another tab for re-sale and there were tickets available.
I guess the economy is having an effect on ticket sales. I figured this concert would sell out fast.

Supermom - We need a full report on the concert in Detroit! Just saw your video on the Walton Sun website. Great photos of the kids with so many of the idols, including my man MJ.

The concert was a blast! Some of the pics are up on the Sun's website; I have a ton more. I have written two articles, one an interview with Jason
, Carly, Ramiele and Syesha and the other, a review of the concert. I don't know if they will be in the paper or online.I loved the whole experience and so did my family. My mom got her fill of Jason and my dad enjoyed Brooke's set!

If I had a flight to New York, I would be glad to be your peep! I am thinking about how to go to another concert without the funds to do it. I sat in the risers with my parents; I would give anything to be on the main floor so I could dance without blocking anyone's view.
