David A. gave me goose bumps with his Imagine. Almost brought tears to my eyes. That's a kid who lives and breathes music. I can actually see him as more of a liturgical singer one day. Not my type of music but there is a strong following and he sure seems to have that gift of sincerity when he sings. Very moving. He is by far the most talented.

I liked Chekiezie too. He was wailing!!

The guy (?) who sang the song by Free was pretty good too. Like the judges said, he is really the only true rocker.

Jason. What can I say. He's just beautiful to look at. Beautiful eyes, beautiful teeth. Not a strong voice but that's ok to me. It'll be interesting to see how long he'll make it and especially if/when he sings w/o his guitar.

I believe David Archuleta will take this years American Idol. I believe he brings the most heart and is the most sincere when he sings. Even if he doesn't win, he will have a bright future in the music industry.

Agree with your choices. I also like David Hernandez - he brought smoldering soul with his rendition of "Papa was a Rolling Stone." Rumor has it he is an ex-stripper.

I think you are right. The only thing stopping him is if AI highlights him too much at the expense of the rest of the contestants. They have to be careful with this. Otherwise, they could just declare him a winner right now and be done with it.

Most of the others, I hated the songs, and none were very memorable performances IMHO.

Question: What's with all the girls wearing scarves in the little film clips before the performance? They ALL had scarves on....
