Disappointed that Kristy and Rami were not in the bottom 3. I really liked Chikezie's voice and sad to see him go.

Good to know I am not alone. I realize Simon is harsh, but Ryan just seems rude. I wish he was did less personal attacks and was more professional. While it appears he and Simon do not get along, I would prefer both to be good. I do not like the cat fights that go on. I guess guys do not cat fight, do they?

I think the producers play up the Simon/Ryan rift as added entertainment--I think it is not as spontaneous as they would like you to think.

Warped view of entertainment for me. Life is too busy with serious moments to be entertained with someone disagreeing frequently.

You are right - it is an act - the roles they play for their tv character.


Chikezie gave a very "Ruben Worthy" performance tonight. I don't think I have ever heard a better goodbye song. It did bring tears to my eyes. Awww, his mom cheering him on - the thought still makes my eyes well up! I will go to the tour just to hear him - the rest will be an added bonus!

I have a really sad 8 year old here.

I had my interview with Chikezie today - First of all, his name is pronounced EZZ-ay not Easy - that is why he dropped the last name on the show - people were mispronouncing it.
He is a man of faith. He said he worked so hard to get on American Idol after being cut last year, that he felt God said to him - you do the work to get here and I'll take over from there!

I'll post more when I am done with my article.

THE CLARK BROTHERS WILL BE ON NEXT WEEK! They will perform on the results show. For all of you who didn't get to see them perform last fall on the Next Great American Band, you are in for a treat!

Dolly Parton is the first guest mentor of the season and the top 9 will be performing her songs.

It was sad to see Chikeze go, because he was far better than some. And as his Paula would say 'Your career has just begun'. And America voted.....

Rami shouldv'e gone. Brooke still there as she has the looks. She sounds late '60's early '70's...Carole King, Joni Mitchell. That era is gone. Poof! I was a big Joni Mitchell fan, still have all her albums but I never listen to them. Possibly because I have only a turntable and it doesn't jive with the new stuff. I just don't know how to hook it up
