I like Matt, the welder, and his story. I just don't think he's American Idol material. No one has come close to Danny Gokey for me. Overall, a disappointing night tonight.

I know. I have a feeling he might though. So far, he hasn't had a lot of competition except for Danny. But, it's still early and hope springs eternal.

Still watching the performance episode. I think Kai really screwed it up. Good vocals, but projecting a face that says, "I'm walking up to customs with 8 condoms filled with heroin up my butt and I've gotta fart". It's just a real turn off.
