I didn't care for Adam too much tonight. He chose one of the most overplayed songs in the history of music. Did we really need to hear it again, for the billionith time? I so wish I could've heard him last week.

Not sure that Allison was so good either.

Anoop's vocals were beautiful and crystal clear, w/o a lot of fluff and runs.

All in all, it was just a so-so night.

I predict Danny and Lil' in the bottom two. I will agree that some of the songs were the most over played themes of all time, but at least they did a good job vocally.

You know, I could just hug you! If only this was the case. I'm trying to make peace with the thought Matt is leaving. I just wrote in the other thread that Matt nailed his song in rehearsal - Paula Abdul was on the KISS radio show this morning and said that. She said she is worried for Matt and Lil.

Why oh why,:bang: does Danny get to mess up through his songs and still get praised like he does. ughh.

The only person who sounded good last night was Anoop. To me, it was boring. Kris had the potential to be the number 1 guy with that song - the most beautiful song but something was wrong with the beginning. But, love the song, so I think he did pretty good.

Matt started off with the swoon factor but his bridge went off pitch. If he could have stayed on and brought it down just a little, it could have been a killer too. If he has to sing for his life tonight, I hope he sings it straight up without the rock bridge.

Anoop's song WAS boring. But he sang it better than some of the others. It just wasn't a great night.

I still cannot stand danny. UGH! When he sings or listens to the judges' critique, he makes my skin crawl w/ his insincere attitude.

Danny has got to let go of the idea that he can keep singing to his dead wife. Every song is this sickeningly sweet ballad to a dead woman. It's getting old and he will be gone soon if he doesn't change it up a little bit.

Danny's routine:

Go for try outs with new found "friend".
Tell everyone with official looking badge that your wife died.
Be just upbeat enough to make it into finals.
Pick song played at wedding.
Sing it like any other song you would.
Try to look really sincere when singing the "my heart will go on", "can't live, if living is without you", or other overly codependent line.
Finish with forlorn look into camera and then shift eyes skyward.
Completely ignore judges while putting on fake look of appreciation.
Finally get voted off show.
Put out mediocre Christian Faith album.
Disappear into obscurity.

wow, I don't even see the Finish with forlorn look into camera and then shift eyes skyward look from him. Or the fake look of appreciation. The vibe I get is one of smugness and superiority. And insincerity. Not very likable.
