I think Paula has been surprisingly helpful in terms of useful constructive criticism this year, more so than Randy has. She still veers off into unicorns and rainbows land at times when the meds kick in, but it beats 'Yo, dawg, it was pitchy!'

I was having heart palpitations last night! I cried foul play. No way was Matt in the bottom 3. I hate when Ryan says here is your bottom 3 and not here are the 3 lowest vote getters.

Yep, it appeared matt had the look of shock on his face! :shock: Poor guy...he turned white and I think he was sweating bullets! Thank goodness there's next week!!!

I have discovered that AI and DVR go hand in hand. Usually the hour long results show can be cut down into about a 20 minute experience. The main event can usually be cut down to about 40 minutes. We don't have listen to Randy and the new girl, just Paula since you never know whats going to come out, and Simon.
Did anyone else notice the the song on the results show was very focused on the girls? I think they're afraid of an all male top 6. I'm betting any girl voted off, going forward, gets a second chance.

you might be right! Although Matt did have a solo, which was perfect for his voice. I think on tour, they might do a duet with Lil and Matt on a Motown song.
I hope that Matt sings a Fray song, jams on the piano and has a break-out performance. I could even see him sing Love Lockdown, which has crazy piano in it!
