Well, what do y'all think about the cut tonight? Jordin is my #1, Melinda my #2, Lakisha #3, and I never liked Blake's style. Sorry Lakisha is gone, but, on the other hand, IMO there are only so many people who can create a career from singing "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going." What she lacked was the ability to "project," a factor that was emphasized to me years ago when I was a professional fashion model.

Next off the show is Chris, then Lakisha, Phil, Blake, and the young girl who can sing and has the cute shy smile. Doolittle will take it all.

So I got Phil out of order, but the rest are on schedule. Doolittle is taking it home. I don't even have to watch it anymore, especially on nights when I'm eating good food and drinking crazy margaritas. ;-) Next off is Blake. I like that he shakes it up and he will do well in the biz, but most voting people will not likely enjoy what he offers.

That's no s...it. Yeah, I guess I've never mentioned my former profession on this board. I became a model for Rich's (now Macy's ) in Atlanta when I was 15. I modeled in Atlanta and New Orleans, both runway and photo. I did a lot of work for the designer Betsey Johnson. I was so stupid -- I thought that would be my career. But after a few years, I realized that modeling would not be a lifelong profession -- you're pretty much washed up by your mid-twenties. My best girlfriend was also a model -- we started out together at Rich's. Ironically, she and I both ended up with graduate degrees in mathematics.

I didn't realize you knit. I like earth tones. Every time I have ever placed a bet, I lost, so I realize that I might be knitting you a scarf, but the bet is on -- just one scarf, in case you are a beginner knitter.

Blake is still my favorite of who's left. I'm not saying he's the better singer but I would buy a cd of his. I probably wouldn't buy one from the others.
