A good friend of mine lives in Seattle, and her brother recently married an Italian girl who is living in the States for the first time. Just got this email from my friend today; seems the SIL met Blake Lewis:
She was downtown the other day buying some shoes and this guy was buying shoes too (Blake), and he was chatting with her, etc. Flirting probably, lol. Anyway, she doesn't watch the show so she had no idea who he was. She left Nordies and saw a big crowd gathered to watch a concert in the square so she hung out to watch. As the bodyguards were walking the perfomer in, he touched her on the arm and said hey, and she was like what the he** is the guy from the shoe department doing?! lol Anyway, she'll be watching Tuesday night for sure, lol.

Okay, so I'm a big Jordin fan. IMHO tonight Blake was first, Melinda second, and Jordin third. Blake had no fear, Melinda was just rock steady, and Jordin was a bit pedestrian in comparison. Again, just MHO.
But then I love The Police, so Blake got my interest with "Roxanne."

Go Melinda! She rocked Nut Bush City Limits - although in my heart, Bob Seger is the King of Nut Bush City Limits! I'm hoping for Jordin/Melinda dueling divas!
Yup, I'm for Jordin & Melinda in the finals. Either one winning would be fine with me. I like Blake, but he always sounds (and moves) the same way as far as I can tell. He'll have a good career anyway, as will Lakisha, Jordin, Melinda regardless of who wins. They all seem like good willed people and so I'd support any of them.
They all did good, I agree with BR order...;-) Blake always does take a chance and always makes it his song. Jordin had a few trouble spots IMO.

with the margin of error very close to call. After Simon's remark about Melinda, I would find it very hard to believe she would not be in the finale.
