katie, I have to say I'm glad you've shed your embarrassment from last week about how into Idol you are and have jumped in wholeheartedly! :clap_1:
I love Paris, Chris, Taylor and Mandisa. My all-time favorite, from the audition stage even, is Chris hands-down. Though my husband said last night it's a shame he's going to have to ride this whole thing out when he'd be able to walk off right now and start making records. Now he's tied to the Idol Machine, unfortunately.

My sister said the same thing about Chris last night. He should be able to walk of right now, and be a star. Unfortunately for him if he wins, he will be at the Idol beck and call for at least a year!!! Bo was glad he didn't win it last year so he wouldn't be tied to there machine!!!!!

Chris, I think, is going to be bigger than Bo even..he's even more marketable across the board. But just like Bo, he'll still be tied to the machine for a few years, unless he can find one heckuva good lawyer. Hopefully they'll give him a (much) better album to record than they did poor Bo, who has to sing schlock pop for a few more years before he's free...

Hey, and speaking of bands and reality TV: We just found out that our guitar player and his wife are going to be the features of an upcoming episode of 30 Days (that show by the guy who did Supersize Me documentary.) Mainly it's his wife they're following for 30 days (premise being that she's a "feminist health worker" that they're placing into a "quasi-cultish home for unwed mothers" in Compton, LA) , but ABC was there last weekend filming them both at their house here in Atl. More details later when I get them--they havent told us much yet. Sounds weird, I have no idea how they got pinpointed for this. Anyway, back to topic. ..)

I thought the song that Bo sang on American Idol was a bit schlokky. So, now I know why... he's tied to American Idol for a while. Well, I'm sure he's making the best of it and hope he can handle it with good spirits (and enjoy his success).

First season of 30 Days had some very interesting episodes to it. I'm glad to hear that they're filming a season 2.
