:scratch:Maybe we don't want all of these people to vote for the next president afterall.

I am now of the opinion that this show is rigged, ...
If it was rigged, Simon wouldn't have looked like  when they announced Chris was going home. Simon really wanted Chris to win.

 i was as shocked as Chris and Kat last night!
now i realllllly want Taylor to win. So, for those of you on this board who know him(doesn't someone know him or his friends or something??)- tell him he should sing a John Hiatt song!! It would go great with his voice - maybe he should try "Drive South". Great song, great lyrics -
he could probably pull it off, even though it's a bit obscure(although it shouldn't be).

so, tell him we're rooting for him down south! :clap_1:

I didn't think Chris was going to be able to perform his swan song;he looked like he was going to cry he was so crushed. Mrs Skunkape had to flee the room lest she cry herself. I don't think it was rigged. If the last few years have taught us nothing else, it should be that the hard rock guys will not win. I have this feeling Elliot is going to win the thing;he has all the momentum, improving steadily, walking with a swagger, taking risks and doing well-he will be very hard to beat. If Taylor comes out and does two numbers ala Jailhouse Rock and not In the Ghetto he will be voted off.

Last I read, Chris was being offered the lead singer gig for Fuel. He's known this for a few weeks, that is why some claim, not me, that his performance has been flat. He will have to wait 90 days to fullfil his contract with AI, then he is off to the big times. :D

Says he's playing bass for a band call The X now.

I hope this works out for Chris, but I'd be leary, this band is not without problems. They have at least two drummers, one sued the band and then the lead singer bails. :dunno:
