Yes and there are those who want to limit my rights but no one seems to be concerned by that fact. As a I read in a post you made in another thread, "I hate the government". I don't hate the government because in many ways they are a reflection of the people they are representing. Right now they are not representing the people as much as they are representing certain idealologies which will limit my freedom of speech, association and due process. Right now we are in a far right wing slant, we will move back to the middle much sooner than many folks may anticipate.

That's the way politics in this crazy country tend to work. In the end it balances out.

The article forgot to mention all of the consumer choices those workers made that supported moving jobs overseas.
