South Walton County, Florida
I have pictures of Seaside, Grayton Beach and all the other Beaches of South Walton County that I made approiximately three days before hurricane Dennis hit. Go to my website click on the community then the photo gallery to view the b :clap_1: each before hurricane Dennis. If my gallery does not have the pictures I think I already uploaded then contact me via my web site and I will send those.

Although a part of me would really like to just let Mother Nature do her work, after considerable thought, both about my personal property and other personal SoWal property, I would like to see offshore dredging be undertaken to bring a bunch of sand back onto the beach.

Hopefully, we can get a long period of respite between big storms, we can plant a county forest of sea oats, we can convince the tourists to stay off the dunes, the winds blow in our favor, the currents flow in our favor, and our dunes build back. But remember, it's only temporary....

In the process, I sincerely hope we don't screw up the home for the wonderful marine life that calls our waters' home.

Mine is a purely personal, non-scientific, opinion. Anybody able to give us some science, pro or con?

As Eddie Rabbit sings, "I love a rainy night, such a beautiful sight, I love to feel..." Now you will have that song stuck in your head for a few days. :rotfl:
