Shelly was showing off her humps at the beach last night.

How did you know it was Shelly? Did she introduce herself to you? I am just curious....I can't believe all this time I thought She was a He.

in plain vanilla professional business attire is always best unless you're interviewing for a job as a fashionista or stripper.

Vanilla . . . What male would say vanilla? White or beige maybe, but not VANILLA. :dunno:

I know, I know....when I read that, I thought...ok, I have been fooled, SHELLY has to be female. ;-)

Sorry, I am not buying it. Some biz men say pure vanilla, especially in my industry and the fact that Shelly suggested black and white for the interview as well.

Bluefox, my feeling would be that for an interview, yes, your work should stand out more than your clothes, but for a graphic designer, you need to reflect some creativity in your style, and so your clothing should reflect that as well. I would wear a simple suit (not too bold, doesn't have to be black, I mean who wears black at the beach?) but use an accessory that reflects who you are (nothing too blingy, I agree with Shelly on that one)

Get yourself a good anti-perspirant, put the ac on early in your car, then put the jacket on at the office for the interview.

Of course, depending on who you're interviewing with, less may be more
:D (Just kidding)

Good luck!
