OK, getting it all together. I know where the Red Bar is. Just a few miles away. Is that where we get on the beach and then do we go West to the party site?
I will feel so silly to head down to the party and end up on a quiet beach all by myself.
I will get to voting just as soon as I talk to the Mrs today to make sure she is joining me.

Y'all have fun- I will be at the SWHS production of "Bye Bye Birdie". Hopefully I will be able to walk after all the dancing at the Prom the night before.

Gull, can't you and Bdarg stop by for a few minutes?

Take a straight, headed south past the Red Bar. Stop before you get to the sand bar. We will be the group quietly discussing life and philosophy in a sedate circle near the outflow a little to your left (east.)

Hell week? We're doing all of this in a weekend, bub. Suck it up and take one for the team!

Oh, where do I bring money for the fire-gods?
Back in MN where I came from, you pay higher taxes if you don't know how to maintain a good bonfire. :funn:
My last fire-pit was 17 feet square with seating for about 10 and a sunken concrete pit that held about a cord of firewood. You will find me hanging out by the fire at the soiree as I can never get enough of just staring into a good bonfire. Lotsa Norwegians and old Vikings back home.

My last fire-pit was 17 feet square with seating for about 10 and a sunken concrete pit that held about a cord of firewood. You will find me hanging out by the fire at the soiree as I can never get enough of just staring into a good bonfire. Lotsa Norwegians and old Vikings back home.

Check with Franny...I never saw for sure, but she can tell you. I'm sure you'll be a welcome addition to the fire team.
