they forgot to ask about the expressions: "y'ant some?", and "I'm fixing to...".
:clap_1:

Actually I would have scored higher if they had given a choice of the pronunciation of ?aunt? as ?ain?t,? for example. And there was no choice of ?Co-Cola? as the carbonated beverage we Southerners like to drink. This questionnaire was obviously written by a Yankee.RiverOtter said:Didn't think you'd score so high BR![]()

Yeah, my husband never goes barefoot; he puts on his shoes as soon as he gets out of bed, regardless of the season - he's a true Yankee. I despise wearing shoes, and only wear them in the house if we have guests, so I totally can't relate to socks with sandals. When my daughter was at MIT, she wore flip-flops even in below-zero weather; YAY, I RAISED HER AS A TRUE SOUTHERN GIRL!Paula said:100% Yankee (born and raised in Massachusetts) with immigrant Polish and Italian roots (is that still Yankee?). But as soon as I stop wearing socks with my sandals in the winter when in SoWal I'll consider myself at least 25% rebel...![]()
