Back in my 20's I spent 7 days on the CO River going through the Grand Canyon. I never imagined it looking like this from the rim

I also never imagined the need to wear a jacket in August :shock:

We drove to Lake Powell from Flagstaff and rented a boat for the day. I never expected Lake Powell to be so amazing

We rented a home in Flagstaff off of VRBO. If anyone ever wants to go out there this is an awesome place to stay!

On our way to Lava Flow Cave down a Forestry RD there were cows

Lava Flow Cave is 40 degrees year round inside. It was 75 outside.... in August

Double D, it really is stunning. I remember walking to the rim and seeing the view unfold in front of me and I was just stunned. I think the only thing I could come up with was "wow". The 4 of us just stood there for several minutes.

I know that's how I'd feel too. I can't believe I've never been. I must and will change that.
