Any of you asthma sufferers having trouble right now? My allergy/exercise induced asthma has been under control for a long time. This past week it has exploded. I feel awful. Did something bloom?

I would guess something generically referred to as 'grasses' on weather.com. Our street is lined with blooming weeds. Sorry, hang in there.

Just about everyone I know in GA is complaining about being congested and even being told by their sleeping partners that their snoring is annoying (happening at our house, too). I have started wearing earplugs at night. We are told that it's grass causing it.
Earplugs huh? Guess I should have considered that for ChefEd before letting the doc give me a shot in the butt.
Allergies
I have had terrible sinus issues and debilitating headaches since last week myself and I had been doing great since I moved here two months ago, better than when in New Orleans. I was thrilled, but it turned really bad about the same time as your asthma. I have been to the doctor also. The headaches are the worst. I've never had them this bad. I hope it gets better for everyone soon.

On CNN yesterday an anchor was reading a piece that claimed three burgers a week can cause asthma.

I haven't had a burger in months! The doc and I did realize that I got hit by this at the exact same time last year. Obviously something blooms at this time of year here. I'll be sure to plan ahead next year!
I find the burger thing hard to believe, but I haven't researched it.
Yes, it sounds like something is blooming this time of the year that doesn't agree with you. What a nuisance!
Salt/sodium can increase the chance of an asthma attacks, so maybe that is why burgers are bad. Most burgers have a ton of sodium.
