AT&T 3G first tourist season test - flunk

Anyone else have problems with AT&T cell service today? Was it the wind? The crowds? When I complained of dropped or missed calls before, I was assured that once 3G coverage was in place, tourist season would no longer be a problem. Well, they've been in town a grand total of 10 minutes, and my phone service today was less than stellar. Anyone else have that experience today?

We were in Panama City today and it was spotty. I do think the volume might have an effect. There are a million teens on the coast armed with cellies.

I've noticed a lag in my e-mails today. There will be nothing for hours then 10 will pop up. When I look at the send times some are several hours old n

On second thought, I wonder if signal problems today were a result of last night's Eglin/alien ops. I remember a few years ago, they were doing something with radio signals that caused automatic garage doors in Niceville to open and close spontaneously. Anybody remember that?

Ditto that... One conversation got dropped 3 times, we finally just gave up.
