I don't know - maybe someone will want to coordinate on behalf of OL. I really like VD exchange most because its not as much work - maybe a homemade funn card and candy. for some reason xmas is a lot more work for me. and then I have to send my tacky xmas ornament crafts to someone who has to pretend to love them...

DD - surely you have a list of wonderful upcoming holidays (well known and not so well known) this winter.

Well of course I do..and I'll post some just for you. FYI, it's National Soup Month, National Oatmeal Month and National Hot Tea Month--for starters.

I'm up for a VD card exchange. The cards are funn for sure. Let's talk to OL and see if she's up for it.

I want to be in Pasadena, CA.

One of BFF sent me a text that they arrived today for the NCAA Championship game to 70 degree weather with lows in the upper 40s.

A winter like that I could handle.

I hope Bama gives them a great game to enjoy.

The Winter Sky. You could see so much more with your eye and telescope. I also have been going our at around 4 ish just to look at the sky and how the sun sets. It has been stunning and surreal the last couple of days. I figure if it has to get dark early, it has to be worth looking at and the sky hasn't failed me yet this winter.

Speaking of homemade cards, does anyone have a cricut? I want one mainly for cutting letters for bulletin boards.

I am in - as long as it isn't called the Sowal VD exchange! I think some local bars already claim that title!

received some cute pictures from a friend today of her two small children in atlanta trying to catch snow flakes with their tongues today.

don't apologize to me Lynnie. freezing temperatures and icy/dangerous conditions are not on MY list of Like about Winter (sorry for repeating myself on that one - I think maybe people thought they read that I liked really cold weather. uh uh. I like 60-70 degree SoWal winter weather, and I LOVE the winter season on the panhandle. its perfect - except for right now!)..

keep warm and stay safe all!
