Neither does Darlene. Anymore anway. Here is my first and only experience with Mardi Gras in NO. It is broad daylight. It is about 2:00 in the afternoon. I was much younger and naive (I was, really). My girlfriends and I are walking down Burbon Street. There is a sea of people. I am happily walking along, when all of a sudden this guy walking towards me, reaches out and grabs my left boob and squeezes as hard as he can then runs off!!! I turn around to knock the SH** of him and he is gone. He just disappeared in the crowd. I was in shock. I saw alot of other things that day and night that I came to realize was the norm. My boob squeeze was NOTHING compared to other stuff I saw. So, needless to say I have never been back. But I hope those of you who do go have a good time.
First, I try to implore people to avoid Bourbon Street like the plague during Mardi Gras. There is so much more to it than that.
Second, I LOVE the Barkus cartoon. It is very accurate to our current mood here. The Jefferson TV spot, Saints sign and cheap beer with a receipt sign are all so brilliant.
Third, Patrick pug and Ellie are both Barkus alumni. They participated in 2004
Fourth, sadly we have one spare bedroom, which has no permanent bed, but if somebody wants to come, we will be glad to have you and will get the finest air mattress money can buy:clap_1:
Fifth, Rapunzey LOVES Mardi Gras. Just ask her what happened at Krewe du Vieux 2003

By the way Punz,I walked by Mr B's yesterday and the interior was demolished
