Back to work after a week on 30A

Our second 'after Xmas' trip to the area. Cold but somedays we were able to walk and/or ride bikes for up to 4 hours. Didn't rain during the day. Real sunny a couple of times. Pretty cold at night.
We know it will be that way so we enjoy the walking/cycling/dining and the quiet time and reading.
Ate at Shorty's, Shades (twice) and Red Bar (twice). Carryout from Taco Bar and BBQ place at Seaside. Didn't venture as far or often because of short, cold days.
Everyone was very nice. From the visitor's center host to the seaside events people.
We got in on the end of the film festival. Looked like fun.
NYE music was fun and the fireworks were great to watch from the beach.
We will back in June. With a new list of places we haven't been - Stinkys, Cafe 30A, Pizza by the Sea, Amore Pizza.

lived in louisville for 20 years, relocated to 30a 5 1/2 years ago and have never looked back!! despite this horrendous cold snap, it is so beautiful here. people are very friendly - very small town feel. glad you enjoyed yourself, and it will definitely be a lot more crowded in june!

Mom was so excited to meet you. And yes, Will remembers your husband! He was Math Scholars when he was there- what a great school! Crosby prepared him very well. I am a veteran of the Whirlaways team NYC trip- which means I will never again ride a bus longer than 1 hour with middle school aged students.
