"Touch This", "Does This Hurt", "Eat This", and "Does It Hurt if You Eat This?" all come to mind!
You are on a roll tonight DD.
I was never too outdoorsy (I'm very fair and tend to wilt in too much heat) but as a preteen I lived in a house with two nice sisters across the street and a couple of cute brothers next door to them. We used to play hide and seek until dark all the time.
What's cool about this is both of the sisters now live on this side of the bay, in Tampa -- about 30 miles from our old houses -- and the younger one has a two-year-old in the same preschool as Katiefunn. They are only weeks apart, have classrooms next door to each other, and almost every Monday, Wednesday and Friday after school you can find them on the playground seesawing together while I chat with my old neighbor. It's been one of those nice little life surprises.![]()
Yeah, I got a little bored...can you tell?
I love this story, TFT. I ran into one of my old neighbors from when I was in elem. school all the way through high school not long ago. I knew her instantly because she's only about 4'9" tall--and--she looked the very same!! I'm sorry I can't say the same for myself. Last night, I went to dinner with a friend I've also known since fifth grade. She and I both have changed quite a bit in 45 years!![]()
I am sure you are the same sweetie you always were ... and btw only sweeties keep friends for 45 years.![]()
She's just afraid I'll tell all the sordid stories to her husband--so she keeps me close. :funn:
I bet you would tell them well. If they weren't already juicy, you'd make em that way.
