Hey everyone! It's Jenna! Hope all is well with everyone. I'm now at Ballyhoo, in the old Salty Dog's location and wanted to let you know about the place and a few changes we have made, mainly per local request. As with every new restaurant, we have had wrinkles and adjustments have been made. We are all now on the same page as far as pricing and I have heard that has been of interest to all my awesome local friends. Here's the deal with the bar. Happy Hour is everyday from 4 to 6, with domestic drafts at $1.25, bottles at $2.00, and liquor starting at $2.75. Jager is $3.50 and Bombs are $5.00. That's better, huh? Regular prices for wells are only$3.75, calls are around $5.50, including products like Crown, Patron, etc. Oh, I forgot wine at Happy Hour is $4.00. The menu will be evolving a bit, but generally keeping it simple and affordable. The ownership is focusing mainly on local business so if you have been in and haven't seen the changes, come on back! I am the daytime bartender, working 5 days through happy hour. I will always be here on Mondays and Tuesdays so when Pandora's is closed on Mondays come visit! Also, Taco Tuesdays will resume in two weeks, just like the good old days! I love you all who have been so good to me and hung out with me at work over the years so I look forward to seeing you soon! Take Care!

Hello Jenna!

Just wanted you to know that after a very frustrating issue the other night with Jambone, Mrs Hawg and I strolled down to the new Ballyhoo and had a great time! The food, beer and live music brought back wonderful memories of Snapperheads and the Salty Dog! Everyone was Super!

Thanks for making a crappy night into an enjoyable event. I can assure you that you we will be back often!

Arkiehawg slammin the bone again.....give it a rest brother...take your issues to the source instead of airing your grievance on the board..im sure scott would have made things right had you not been such a douch_bag.

For the record, I love Jambone and Scott. I'm just informing, not at all taking away from the bone.......

Speaking the truth Dawg.....his system sucked and he had no backup to contact him via phone. HE and now you are the ones with all of the name calling. Take a look at Katz response about a customer concern. That is good customer service. Scott's response was poor at best. As they say...payback is hell and he hasn't seen the wrath of the Hawg yet....He is very dependent on good customer service and the community dollar....until he apologizes for all of the name calling, I will do everything in my power to encourage folks to spend their dollars elsewhere....

Douch_bag.....very original.....Dawg...

The happy hour prices sound great!

Arkiehawg - we've all heard your beef w/ Jambone and continuing to harp on it in multiple threads just makes you lose credibility and seem overly vindictive. Yes, I was surprised by his response, but don't know that I wouldn't have lost my patience with you too for slamming my business for a phone problem that I had already posted about.

We went and had a beer last night. The place looks great. We were really in the mood for some fresh, lovingly grilled local seafood though so we didn't eat.
We'll definitely be in for taco night.
Are you going to expand the menu with less fried, more fresh and local seafood?
Would have loved to slurp a couple dozen oysters!!!!

From what I understand, Jon wants to run raw oysters as a special soon. I will let you know!
