After 2am in March they'll cross the county line to that wonderful gas station on 30a (East) and 98 to get their blunts, porn and alcohol. Just wait...

While here they'll discover the beach accesses at Inlet Beach and start to drive the residents nuts.

Why? I believe that store closes at midnight and alcohol sales end at 2am in Walton County.

Porn and blunts are available in Bay County 24/7.

Oh really? Ever been to Whales Tail at Spring Break?

Is it possible that a resort group, which I believe manages some of the condos, advertises to spring breakers and as a free market entity allowed to market to anyone they want without the use of TDC funds?

The Walton County TDC already doesn't advertise to spring breakers.
Thanks for the info.

I'm not sure that that is possible. Anyone know?

I was being rhetorical, because I think a company can seek seek out a market source. Example, different hotels may seek out a certain demographic based on income. Companies are always doing surveys, online and otherwise so it would not surprise me that this could be occurring.

Not sure what kind of advertising resorts or hotels may be doing.
I did not understand why spring breakers were coming to Walton County in spite of the TDC not marketing to them and most of the properties not renting to people under 25. Local authorities' answer was that the breakers were coming because they had been brought to the area by their parents as kids and had been coming to Walton County all their lives. They also said that some of the breakers' parents own properties in Walton County that they can stay in or their parents book accommodations for them.

Why don't the powers that be just put some signs up stating: "Spring Breakers and Bikers (motorcycle riders) not welcome!", since Walton County wants to market only to the upper echelon of society.
