At the place in PCB, you can even drag race snow mobiles (dry, on an elevated track. Talk about power blast.:shock:

One of the things on my "List to do" someday is snowmobile. I prefer riding on real snow and not on a track. Bet that ride is a rush though. ;-) Does it make you feel cooler :laughing1

I've never been on one of those toys, but I have seen it in action. Probably gets up to about 40mph in a short burst.

When I was going to school in Oregon, my roomates dad owned a lumber company. He took us up to mark trees one weekend and the only way to do it was on a snowmobile. You would think those things would glide right on top, but it was a very bumpy and somewhat painful ride. Was bruised head to toe when we got home. And just like a jet ski, if you fall off, not real easy to get back on. They can't sit still for too long in very deep snow.

I got 65MPH+ in Yellowstone. I was struggling to keep up with an 82 yo we dubbed "Mario." He had a bandana, cool moustache, and a young chick wearin leather (ridin' bi**ch), not a DAY day over 67.. He whipped my arse and laughed about it... Nice time, though.
