I sat in front of George Carlin on a plane once. Said "hi" but didn't have the nerve to be a pest and ask for an autograph

Ummmmmm.....Schwinngggg!

:dunno: Eh....dunno about that one. Imagine a high school girl who has just run from Santa Rosa Beach to Seaside at 2:00 in the afternoon on a hot August day.

Yeah...that sounds about right! LOL! She looked ragged out...

Oh! Oh! My other famous run in!

I had to do a station inventory in Anchorage about 10 years ago. I managed to snag a first class seat to Salt Lake City on the return trip and was seated behind a very distinguished looking older gentleman and his wife. He was very pleasant and struck up small talk. Kept getting the feeling I should know him

One of the guys I went with had gone down to Seward, AK. A few days after we got back he was talking about the yachts that he saw and that he had seen a huge limo. He asked who it belonged to was told that the rumor was that it was Gregory Peck. That's when it hit me, and I exclaimed, "That's who that was!"

Very nice man who I'm sure appreciated his anonymity and the fact that I didn't know who he was at the time. He passed away about two months later...

Whitey, we used to go to Perkins at the corner of 21st/Wedgewood for late night studying. (I don't even think it's there anymore...oh, well.) We were often graced with the presence of Randall "Tex" Cobb. He always hung out in a booth by himself and seemed very polite. As much as I love "Raising Arizona," I didn't even realize it was him until my brother came to visit.

My big celeb sighting was Kenny Chesney in St. John

Oh I would just DIE if I saw him!!!!!!!!

I never asked anyone for an autograph until I was standing in line at the San Diego airport, looked up, and realized that Tony Hawk was in front of me. I wouldn't have done it for myself, but I got the courage to ask for one for my stepson. TH was really kind, and my SS was SO :D .
