I am all for inclusion and temperance and all that, but the fact remains that Christmas is a Christian holiday and it should not have to be watered down to appease non-Christians. I don't find Hannukah or Kwanza or any other non-Christian holiday offensive in the least. If you don't want to celebrate Christmas, then don't. But don't expect Christians not to.

Actually Christmas has its roots as a pagan holiday. Gidget posted a wonderful synopsis of this in another thread(I'll see if I can find and link it). Regardless of religion, I believe Christmas is a time of goodwill and helping others and love and laughter and family. If that is watering it down for you, I am sorry...I think that is something wonderful! Merry Christmas!!
I guess my message was lost in translation. What I meant by watering down was political correctness to such an extreme that you can't even say "Merry Christmas" anymore.
