Black Eyed Peas, Cornbread, Greens At Your Place??

Who cooks at home for New Year's Day? I soaked my black eyed peas and then sprouted them - just so they START to sprout (helps digestion) and I'm fixin to go in kitchen and start them. Must cook with thyme and fresh parsley (dh needs to pick when he goes to lot today) Will serve with cabbage and jalapeno cornbread.

Whatcha cookin' at your house?? New Year's Day food is so simple and one of my favorite eating days.

I fired up the grill this AM and I am currently bbq'ing 30 lbs. of pork, 2 turkeys and a briskett. This will go along with my Turnip/Mustard Greens, Pinto Beans, Black Eyed Peas, Hoppin John, Jalapeno Corn Bread and Corn Fritters. Detox and diet starts on Saturday!!!
