For the record, boiling water hurts when you pour it all over your hand. Anyway, I found these bandages called Nexcare Abrasion Cover (they're on the aisle with the plain old Bandaids). They are completely clear, ultra thin and waterproof, so you can protect your skin while continuing all those fun little Christmas chores. Hope this helps!
