He is Catholic (converted from Hindu in high school, I believe). He goes to football games. Don't think he hunts or goes to NASCAR. You can try to dumb him down all you want but you can research his academic background and realize he has a CV more impressive than probably 99.5% of all Americans.

i find it interesting that the gop has discovered the political power of melanin for their choice of party chairman and opposition spokesman....pandering?? no way! god bless the gop!!

Jindal did well Sunday on Meet The Press and all of the other Sunday AM shows. He was speaking his own words. The Republican rebuttal was not written by him. As some have said, he is not accustomed to teleprompters.

Not saying this applies to Jindal, but there are a lot of really intelligent and effective people in leadership roles who aren't good speakers.

I am sure the 'talking points memo' is an unbiased source. :roll: The reality is that he did attend a supposed exorcism (I would too, given the chance) and concluded that what he observed was not convincingly supernatural.
