I'm sure you've seen the news that she died, did you notice the cause? A complication following a surgical cosmetic procedure. I thought of you both because of Kanye and because I know you're good about reminding us about the dangers of such things. She was only 58!

God, after all Kanye has been through with the wreck. And this must really make him feel strange -- I mean, she probably couldn't afford cosmetic surgery without a successful son, yet that caused her demise. I think I've told you all about the physician's wife here in town who had cosmetic surgery, had complications, and died, leaving a husband, and 3 young children.

That being said, if I could afford cosmetic surgery, I'd risk it. A close family member of mine has cosmetic surgery about as often as I have a pedicure.

No disrespect to Kanye and I was saddened when I heard of his mother's death today. But am I correct that Kanye is the star/celebrity who has had a couple of hissy fits/tantrums lately? Maybe I have my stars completely confused.

Kanye has been known to have hissy fits over getting passed over for award nominations, etc. Even he admits in his lyrics that he "act a fool." But I think he is really talented.
