Miramar beach is Miramar Beach - not Destin.

So true. Still, for marketing, most businesses in Miramar Beach advertise their location as Destin. Always have. Especially those located right on the Destin line.

So like Okaloosa Island being considered in some circles as Destin west SoWal with its unique identity can now be considered Destin east and lose the identity. Just my 2 cents most folks know where we are just don't realize we are not Destin.

There is just that West South Walton / Miramar Beach, just next to Destin, where businesses use the term Destin in their marketing and advertising. It's a long time practice.
