These are all great ideas. (Well, except ) Thank you so much! I may do a combo pack -- Crocs and a massage or something else. I only have tomorrow to shop.

LBH I love the beach bag/his n hers towels idea. If I had thought ahead I could have ordered a beach tote from LL Bean with her initials or found some other funky beach towels online. But I gave up online shopping for Lent!! Fortunately there is a Pottery Barn nearby. Plus plenty of Crocs and massage places. :clap_1:

My favorite shower gift I got was a coupon for a massage, I used it right before my wedding, when things were getting really crazed, it was great to get away for an hour!!!

Great idea! I will have to remember this one!! Of course my first thought was the sowal thong..but not for a sweet modest soon to be bride!! JK

Update. I called her future MIL and asked her shoe size. Did I mention she is tiny? Her shoe size is 4 1/2!! Apparently she can only get shoes at Nordstrom. I wonder if Nordstorm carries smaller Crocs. :scratch:

Instead of a massage, I discovered that she loves to get her nails done, so I will give her a mani/pedi gift certificate for the place she likes down the street. :clap_1: If the crocs don't work, maybe I'll place the gift certificate in a nice new picture frame ...

You guys are the best!! Her future MIL complimented me for being "so creative." :roll: I just told her I asked a bunch of friends and stole their ideas. I did not mention SoWal (insert "can o' worms" smiley here).

the picture frame is an excellent idea - i am always having to buy more frames. i gotta hold my vote on the crocs tho - they are terribly in my opinion, not comfy for me at all.
