What's your take on letting our 14 yr old daughter go with us or should we go preview it first?

it depends on the maturity level of your daughter. I would say it's okay but just know there are two rather intense sex scenes (no nudity, just very intense, suggestive), and also, the story is serious with some pretty heavy duty issues. could be good material for a mature young person, IMO.

I can understand what she is saying... and in BBM both men are gorgeous, even though there are 2 scenes that are still a little disturbing to me - but not terribly so, because of the obvious feelings that have developed between the two, so you aren't shocked. this movie definitely breaks new ground in several ways.

It's like seeing an intimate moment between any two people on screen - it seems a little uncomfortable because it's such a private thing to see right there big as life.
